What AI Agents Teach Us About Human Potential

An AI agent’s true power doesn’t just come from the model itself. It comes from the harness and the context it operates within. You can take a smaller, modestly parametered model, give it a brilliant harness (great context retrieval, well-structured tools, clear constraints, and strong feedback loops) and it will consistently outperform a massive, cutting-edge model trapped in a poor framework.

Humans work the exact same way. Your output and growth aren’t defined solely by raw talent or potential. They depend heavily on the environment you’re in, the team around you, the inputs you receive, and the culture you absorb, what anchors you: your purpose, core values, faith, habits, and self-discipline.

Put a high-performing person in a chaotic, toxic context with zero guidance or grounding, and their output will degrade. Put someone in a supportive, high-signal context anchored by strong values, and they can achieve excellence far beyond what they thought possible.

The take-away: If you ever feel like you aren’t “good enough” or aren’t being valued for what you bring to the table, check your framework before you question your worth. Don’t just try to rewrite who you are. Change your context, and refine the harness you rely on.
